Tips to Crack IIT-JEE 2018-2019 Mains & Advance

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a nationwide entrance examination that is organised by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). This competitive test is conducted for admittance to various undergraduate architecture and engineering courses in institutions across India.

JEE main entrance exam pattern is thoroughly objective. It consists of two papers. Paper 1 is for engineering courses and Paper 2 for architecture courses. Mode of examination for paper one will be online as well as offline whereas the mode of examination for paper two will be offline.

JEE Main exam pattern for paper -1 is as follows.

  • Time Duration: 3 hours will be allotted for candidates to solve the examination paper. An extra hour will be allotted for pupils with a physical disability to complete the paper.
  • Questions Pattern: There will be 3 sections consisting of 30 questions each respectively. As mentioned earlier they are multiple choice questions.
  • Sections: They include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Language: Students have to choose the language that is either English or Hindi.

JEE Main exam pattern for paper -2 is as follows.

  • Sections: It includes 3 sections that comprise of Mathematics, Drawing and Aptitude Test.
  • Mode: JEE Examination papers are available only in offline mode.
  • Question Paper Pattern: Drawing section comprises of 7 questions, among them candidate can attempt any two of them.

JEE Main 2018 Preparation Tips
